Disney+ / Nat Geo这部七集限定剧由《晨间风云》“Claire”，《少女日记》女主Bel Powley、《清道夫》后再度回归的Liev Schreiber以及刚刚结束《伊普克雷斯档案》的Joe Cole加入其中，重述Miep Gies的故事。 来自《实习医生格蕾》的Joan Rater与Tony Phelan将会为剧集撰写剧本，此前执导了《空乘危机》的Susanna Fogel确认执导多集。此次Bel将饰演主角Miep，而Joe则饰演她的丈夫“Jan”，Liev则饰演Anne Frank的父亲Otto Frank。 Miep在二十多岁的时候，收到Otto的请求，希望可以藏匿在她的家中，以此躲过纳粹当时对于犹太人的迫害。Miep与自己的丈夫Jan，还有其它的人义无反顾地担起了这个重担；在接下来的两年里，照顾着包括Otto、Anne在内的八名避难者。 尽管在1944年这次藏匿计划以失败告终，但Otto妥善保存了Anne于躲藏期间所写的《安妮日记》，并在战后交还给了唯一幸存的Otto，整理成了此后最重要的纪录文献。而在二战后，Miep与Jan成立了社会团体，协助战后归来的人，并致力于对部分人关于日记造假进行驳斥。2010年，Miep于阿姆斯特丹去世，享年100岁。 “超过两万名荷兰人在需要藏匿的那几年间协助藏匿犹太人及其他人，我只是欣然做我可以协助的事。我丈夫也是。这不算什么。” Miep曾经这样说道。
